Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Website Learners Private Limited (“SelfieAds”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in India with CIN U80903TN2020PTC138777 and registered office at No. 58/14, Shri Venkateshwara Tower, First Floor, Unit F1 & F2, Raja Bather Street, T. Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600017, India, collects and uses your personal data when you use selfieads.com and the SelfieAds service (the “Service”). For that data we are the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”). You can read this policy on its own; you do not need any other document to understand how we use your data.
1. Summary
- We use your selfies and uploads only to make the ads you ask for.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your face to identify or track you.
- We do not use your selfies, uploads or ads to train AI models.
- You can delete your ads at any time, and ask us to delete your account and your data.
- Questions or complaints go to our Grievance Officer at grievance@websitelearners.com.
2. Personal data we collect

We do not ask for, and you should not upload, government ID numbers, health information or financial account details.
3. Why we use it

We use only the data each purpose needs, and we will ask for your consent again before using your data for a new purpose.
4. Signing in with Google
If you choose Continue with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use them only to create your SelfieAds account, sign you in and show which account is signed in. We do not ask for access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
SelfieAds’ use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Selfies and faces
- We use your selfies only to make the content you ask for, for example to keep the same person in every clip and to frame the face in the video, and to run automated safety checks.
- We do not use faces to recognise, identify or track you or anyone else.
- We do not use your selfies, uploads or outputs to train AI models.
- Selfies are sent only to the providers in section 6 that make your pictures and videos, and only to make them.
- Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have agreed to appear in your ads, and never of anyone under 18 (see the Terms of Service).
6. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with the companies that run parts of the Service for us, and only what each one needs to do its job:

These providers may use your data only to provide their service to us, and their own terms govern how long they keep it. We may also disclose data when Indian law or a lawful order of a court or government authority requires it, or to a buyer in a merger or sale of our business, who must keep the protections in this policy. We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers.
7. Transfers outside India
Your account data and files are stored in India (Mumbai). Some of the providers in section 6 process data outside India, for example in the United States. We transfer data only to countries the Government of India has not restricted under section 16 of the DPDP Act, and only under contracts that protect it.
8. How long we keep your data
Your ads, and the files in them, are kept according to your plan:

Before we delete an ad for not being opened, we mark it in your ads list for a week, and opening it keeps it. You can delete any ad yourself at any time.

Once a purpose is complete and no law requires us to keep the data, we erase it and have our providers do the same.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, hashed passwords, access controls and backups. Each account’s files are private to that account, and links to your files are signed and expire. Our providers are bound by contract to protect your data. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you without delay what happened, its likely impact, what we are doing and what you can do, and we will report it to the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
10. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of your personal data, how we process it, and who we have shared it with
- Correct, complete or update your personal data
- Erase your personal data, unless the law requires us to keep it
- Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. This does not affect processing already done, but we may then be unable to provide some features
- Have a grievance redressed by our Grievance Officer
- Nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or cannot act yourself
To use any of these rights, email grievance@websitelearners.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Privacy request”. We may ask you to confirm it is you. We reply within 30 days, and in any case within 90 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the rights the GDPR gives you, including to complain to your data protection authority.
11. Cookies and browser storage
We keep your sign-in session and a few settings, such as light or dark mode, in your browser’s storage so you stay signed in. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its payment form to process payments and prevent fraud.
12. Children
SelfieAds is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of children (under 18 in India). If you believe a child has used the Service, contact us and we will delete the data.
13. Changes to this policy
We post any change on this page and update the date at the top. For a material change, we tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect and, where the law requires, ask for your consent again.

The Grievance Officer acknowledges a complaint within 24 hours and resolves it within 15 days, and in any case within the 90 days the DPDP Rules, 2025 allow.
